The Beatles Song “Love Me Do” Just Celebrated 50 years – And Some Great Photos Have just Been Released of the Young Men Many Years Ago
The Beatles song “Love Me Do,” turned 50 years old on October 5, 2012. It eventually reached the number 17th spot in the British charts. It wa an instant hit its peak during December of that year. As a result, the Beatles, Paul McCartney, John Lennon, Ringo Star, and George Harrison, decided that all of the music for the band would be written by all four of them. And although the song was great, it did not contribute to what became “Beatlemania,” in the United States the following year. By then, the Beatles had a number of hit songs and an album.
Several events are planned in the United Kingdom to celebrate their accomplishment. The photos here were recently released from a book, “With the Beatles.”
